Community activities
Community and belonging is a key tenet of Breakthrough T1D’s commitment to improving the lives of people with type 1 diabetes (T1D) today, while we work towards cures. We partner with dedicated volunteer committees to organize local community activities for both adults and families affected by T1D. The type of activities vary by community, as they are hosted and run by amazing volunteer groups. Please choose a province below to find community activities near you.

This event is to provide T1D adults in the Edmonton area an opportunity to meet others in person to form new connections and engage in conversations. Meet at Remedy Café for a beverage, then walk over to Metro Cinema to watch The Human Trial at 3pm.
