This event is to provide adults living with T1D in the Edmonton area an opportunity to meet others in person to form new connections and engage in conversation.

Vancouver T1D Meet Up – You’re Just My Type
Location: Vancouver, BC
Date: Saturday, May 30 2026 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m

You’re Just My Type, in partnership with Breakthrough T1D Canada, is excited to host our first community event in Canada! This event will bring together adults living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and community. Simple activities and small group conversations designed to help you connect with others living with T1D in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

Many people arrive not knowing anyone and leave feeling a little more connected, a little more understood, and a little less alone. Whether you’ve lived with T1D for decades or were recently diagnosed, you’re welcome here. We can’t wait to meet you!

T1D Family Meet Up

Where:  Edmonton Corn Maze – 51529 Range Rd 262, Spruce Grove, AB
Cost: General $15 ($16 at gate), Youth (4–11) $13 ($14 at gate), Youth under 4 Free
Tickets: Pre-purchase online through the Edmonton Corn Maze website, or at the gate on the day of the event.
