Colby is extremely passionate about advocating for a cure since he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at the age of 6. He has participated in two editions of Kids for a Cure Lobby Day and was a recipient of the Boston Pizza Youth Ambassador of the Year award in 2018. His team has raised over $25,000 during their participation at JDRF fundraising events. His hobbies include reading, playing basketball, swimming and he aspires to become a defense lawyer and own a pro bono law firm that helps those who cannot afford legal consultations. Colby is confident that his experience will enable him to make a change for the T1D community.
