Taylor’s hobbies include cross-country running, beekeeping, photography, swimming, aerial hoop, downhill skiing, travelling, baking, interschool sports (cross-country running, soccer, volleyball, badminton, track and field, ultimate frisbee and basketball), volunteering, reading and cross-fit.

She was elected to student council as a grade 8 representative, winning MVP in her school cross country team two years in a row (2023 & 2024), recognition from Diabetes Canada for fundraising over $6000, won second place (2023) and third place (2024) for her Optimist Club’s essay contest, won second place in her Optimist Club’s oratorical contest (2024), completed the Lady Baden-Powell Award (Girl Guides of Canada), won the Change Maker Award (National award from Girl Guides of Canada), completed her Red-cross babysitting certification, as well as Emergency First Aid (Lifesaving Society), Bronze Cross Swimming (Lifesaving Society) and Bronze Medallion Swimming (Lifesaving Society).

Taylor aspires to run a marathon, be student council president, travel the world, become a lifeguard (next year), work as a counsellor at Camp Banting, and later on in life become an astronaut or lawyer.
